A vehicle’s length, height, and weight affect how much trailer space it uses. That is why a pickup may quote differently from a sedan on the same Federal Way lane.

For a running vehicle on open transport, Federal Way’s middle-half customer quote ranges are $1,050–$1,325 outbound and $1,075–$1,325 inbound. These are on-record quote patterns, not a fixed rate. Your quote depends on the lane, vehicle, pickup access, season, and transport type. Dallas is Federal Way’s most common outbound destination.
Transit depends on the destination. Typical on-road estimates are 1–5 days to Phoenix or San Diego, 3–7 days to Dallas, and 4–10 days to Miami or New York. Atlanta and Washington, DC, typically take 4–9 days. These count road days after pickup, not time from booking, and are estimates, not guarantees.
Carriers arranged through SAKAEM are FMCSA-licensed and insured, with at least $1,000,000 in liability coverage and $100,000 in cargo insurance. Review the vehicle’s condition with the driver and note existing marks on the inspection paperwork. Ask the carrier how to report damage before the trip.
You can put up to 100 lbs of personal items in the trunk or below the window line. Keep the load secured and avoid placing belongings where they could shift or block the driver’s view. Take valuables, documents, and anything you need during the move with you.
SAKAEM can arrange transport for a non-running vehicle if it rolls, brakes, and steers, and a key is available. Tell us about its condition before booking so the carrier can plan for loading. If it cannot roll, brake, or steer, ask about options before you schedule.
You can pay by card, or pay the carrier by cash or certified check; Zelle and Venmo are also accepted. Confirm the payment method and timing with SAKAEM and the carrier before pickup, so you know who collects each payment and when. There is no upfront deposit, and cancellation is free.
A designated adult must be present at both pickup and delivery to inspect the vehicle and sign the Bill of Lading. If you cannot attend, choose someone you trust and share the pickup details and access instructions ahead of time. The adult should walk around the car with the driver and note its condition.
